Well the lucky winner, Amy from SewAmySew went pattern free and created this fabulous skirt. I was so excited to see this fabric made up, as when I originally bought the fabric thought I might make a top, but her skirt really is the perfect use for this fabric. I just love the little detail at the back. Head on over to her blog and check it out.
In other sewing news, I finished my Sinbad and Sailor O'Keefe skirt on the weekend, so hope to post that soon.
Wow. I can see why you chose the Sinbad skirt.
ReplyDeleteIt's a pretty skirt isn't it!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely adorable!
ReplyDeleteThis is such great fabric and Amy's skirt is a perfect match with it - I love her matching shoes and top too! Loved the sneak peek of your skirt on Instagram, can't wait to see it properly!
ReplyDeleteShe has matched it so well hasn't she! I was going to wear my skirt on Monday to work but the weather was really wintery so didn't feel it. Hope to tomorrow so will try and get some sneaky shots in before work. What are you sewing at the moment?
ReplyDeleteIt's very cute isn't it!
ReplyDeleteNothing unfortunately as my sewing machine is still packed away - our new house is taking a lot more time and effort to get ready than we thought! When I do get the sewing machine out though I think some curtains for the nursery will be my 1st project!
ReplyDeleteAaah, yes, those Liberty curtains! Good luck with the house. Take your time and enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteAmy did such a beautiful job with the striped fabric! I love that she has a perfectly matching top and shoes. I need to check out her blog post. I can't wait to see your O'Keefe skirt!
