KCWC Day 4

Day 4 Sewing time: 4.45pm- 5.45pm
It's pitiful how much little I managed to sew on Day 4 in one hour.  Another little kerchief:

And some plastic hair band bows using this tutorial.  I will now hide my head in shame at my output and think carefully about what I will do tonight to improve.

  1. I LOVE the Dr Seuss fabric! Your makes today/yesterday (we're probably a whole day away from each other??) are really nice! I had the feeling last KCWC that I 'had' to be making things and it's not that much fun - it looks to me like you're more into the craft fair at the moment - the bandanas are brilliant! I showed them yesterday to a friend with a dribbly baby (well he's 18mths now and her second is due any moment), and she really wants some!

  2. hehe, please do not hang your head in shame, that kerchief is too sweet. Where are you getting those lovely Dr Suess fabrics?
I have a blog award for you, but please do not feel obliged if you don't want it :))

  3. Thanks so much for the blog award as I said on your blog it's pretty easy to comment on your great stuff. I bought the Dr Suess fabric last year from Addicted to Fabric on a whim and basically hadn't used it for anything except maybe a gift bag!!

  4. Hey Jo, very happy to send you one or two for her.. otherwise they are super easy to sew up if you want to make her some. I could always put the pattern up on the blog. I put velcro in the back because with babies it's just a bit easier to put on and off.

  5. yes it was the velcro that impressed! Much better than trying to tie a knot behind a wriggly baby's head :-) If you'd like to put the pattern up that would be lovely, but no need to bother if you have more important things to attend to - I'll get my brain in gear and see if I can figure it out. I don't dare think what the postage would be between our sides of the planet!
